My Prayer Time

I have felt compelled for some time to share my prayers and talks with God with others. That is what this blog is for, and I hope God belsses you with these words. Of course, I would love to hear from others as well.

What's this mean?

I was reading John 11 the other day and became confused by a passage. This is the chapter where Lazarus is healed, which I'm sure most of you are familiar with.

Jesus and His disciples had just learned that Lazarus was sick. In verse 7 Jesus tells them that they are going back to Judea and His disciples warn Him about going back in verse 8. Then Jesus answered them in verses 9-10.

9 Jesus answered, "Are there not twelve hours of daylight? A man who walks by day will not stumble, for he sees by this world's light.

10It is when he walks by night that he stumbles, for he has no light."

This is a very interesting response, and if I had been there, I would have been scratching my head. (:

You probably should read the whole chapter, as there is a lot more to the story. Let me know what you think about Jesus' response in verses 9-10.

In Christ,
