Do No Forsake The Word

Always remember the Word of God and keep it near you at all times. You absolutely have to do this or you will find yourself in trouble. Simply put, there is no Christianity without the Word.

2 Peter 1:19 says this: "And we have the word of the prophets made more certain, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shinning in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your heart."

These are powerful words. I read this passage today and really did not recognize it, sad to say. There is so much in the Word and I am compelled more and more to keep my eyes on it. These are dark times and the Word of God will continue to shine brightly as it has for generations past. Let us all follow the light.
