My Prayer Time

I have felt compelled for some time to share my prayers and talks with God with others. That is what this blog is for, and I hope God belsses you with these words. Of course, I would love to hear from others as well.

How many Christians go fishing in the sea of forgetfulness?

I don’t know why I struggle so much with certain things in the past. Things that are covered in the blood of Christ and forgiven by God are gone, cast into the sea of forgetfulness. These things are so gone that God doesn’t remember them. Justified by the blood of Jesus means just-if-I’d never sinned.

If Christ laid His life down so that I could be forgiven and come into a right relationship with God through Christ, why do I go fishing in the sea of forgetfulness? Why do I search for those things that have been cast in? I need to leave the sinful things of the past in the past and move on and be free from all of that.

I wonder how many other Christians fish in the sea of forgetfulness?
